The weather here is always nuts. I, without fail, always wake up at the slightest hint of thunder. I have to say, all of these storms give my hubby lots of business trimming trees. They have had more jobs than they can handle. Do you have a cell? I hate the "cut off from civilization" feeling that so many others strive to get...

I do have a mobile, Michelle, but coverage 'round here is spotty at best. The good news is that the land-line service is working again tonight.

I'm way behind on my blog reading, but I wanted to say congrats on your sweater. It is beautiful!

Ditto for me on the blog reading, Amy. Thanks for the compliments on the sweater! I'm behind on posting, too, and one of my next posts will be about a second sweater that's almost completed, plus other works in progress.
