The Farmette Report got its start as a thread on a discussion forum (the now defunct PocketLoft) where I was known as "Willa." The contents of that discussion thread are reposted here, which is why you will see comments directed to me as either "Willa" or Janis in the earliest posts. When I launched this blog, I decided to be known as simply, and authentically, Janis.
